Could there really be more common sense coming from the left side of the isle than we originally thought? I don't much like surprises (save birthdays), but this one was pleasantly received. Mr. Bayh is exactly right in saying that "the solution going forward is to stop wasteful spending before it starts. I'm glad that there have been a few democrats who are against the massive spending bill. Maybe sanity does still exist in Washington, albeit in small doses!
